How much will it cost to build my site?
Each B&Co site is custom created to fit the specific needs of the customer. My sites are not template based. I don’t simply take a ready made design, change the logo, update the text and make some minor modifications to create a “custom” website. For this reason it’s not possible to price a project without first learning what your project entails. As part of the discovery process we will meet with you for a free consultation and discuss your options. After our meeting I’ll be able to quote a price for your project.
How long will to take to build my site?
Sites typically take 4 to 8 weeks to build. If you need a site sooner, just ask! Depending on our current project load it may be possible to speed up the process allowing us to deliver your site sooner. Please keep in mind, that to do this I will need all your content ready to go in it’s final format before I start. If you want suggestions as to what to write about I’ll gladly help. But keep in mind that since only you know your business it’s not possible for me to write your copy. I wish we could change this because in the web design business, waiting for content is a very common reason for projects taking longer.

Site comes with 30 days free support beginning at the date of the final payment. After that support is available on an hourly basis.
What are web standards?
Web standards refers to the current best practice methodology used to build websites. It’s the way B&Co. builds it’s websites. For a more complete description of web standards and it’s benefits, check out out our web standards page.
Do you offer SEO services?
B&Co sites are constructed using SEO (Search Engine Optimization) friendly techniques at no extra charge. For most websites, having plenty of good well marked-up code is all that is required for a respectable search engine ranking. What browsers do you support?
All B&Co sites are build using web standards. This helps ensure that your site will be usable in all current mainstream browsers. That said, sites are tested to support IE6, IE7, FireFox 3.0, and Apple Safari. The standard browser guarantee covers over 98% of typical visitors! If you require additional browser support just ask. Additional browser testing and any possibly needed modifications are available at an extra charge.
Do you perform maintenance on sites built by other designers
Sure, just contact me with what you need to have done. I’ll quote you a ballpark figure. Typically, on smaller maintenance type jobs, I bill hourly.
Do you require a deposit before starting a web design project?
I follow the industry norm of requiring a 50% deposit before staring the project, with the remainder due upon the successful completion of the project.
